Afraid to start again
I saw a quote. It made me consider many ideas.
“Don’t be afraid to start all over again. You may like your new story better.” ~Heather Mainetta
When we consider a new start, it can be daunting. We look at the road we have traveled and we find much comfort. The road is often full of great moments. These are happy memories that build a positive idea of progress. These same roads may contain moments of pain or struggle. Those moments challenge the forward progress of our lives and make us question much in our lives.
We find comfort in the good times and bad. This level of comfort can be beneficial to survival. It can show what was possible through personal adversity. It can lead to personal difficulties of acceptance. Looking back at what has encouraged our growth is acceptable. Understanding that sometimes we need to start again on a new path is important to our evolution.
Fear can govern our ability to move to a new start. Changing perspective in this light playful way can support governing the fear that paralyzes us from this new start. We can have a positive and light way of looking at a newer and better story. So consider a positive perspective on your new story or a new chapter in your story. You may like the new look way better.
